I’m Will Francis — an educator, trainer and creator helping people get practical with AI and digital marketing. I run training for companies and conferences, make daily videos across six platforms, and write W/T/F, a weekly newsletter read by thousands of marketers.
I’ve worked in digital media since 2004. In my agency days I worked with some of the world’s most loved brands, exploring how digital media changes the way we live, buy and communicate.
Today I train thousands of people every year. I create and run public courses for the Chartered Institute of Marketing, the Digital Marketing Institute and the American Marketing Association — where I’m consistently one of the highest-rated tutors — and I’m a course director at University College Dublin.
In-company, I’ve trained teams at TikTok, the US State Department, Harper Collins, British Airways, Aviva, Savills, Vapiano, Scottish Power and many more.
I’m an experienced keynote speaker, panellist, moderator and event host. I take complex concepts — AI workflows, social media algorithms, copywriting that converts — and explain them simply, with practical takeaways and slides that aren’t full of text. I’ve spoken for The Drum, the IDM, Soho House, Social Media World, 100% Design, The Bookseller, The Guardian and Econsultancy.
Having spent two decades in digital media, I regularly appear on TV, radio and in print to make sense of technology stories — social platform changes, viral trends, marketing controversies and AI developments. I’ve been featured on the BBC, CNN, ITV, Channel 5 and in The Guardian, and have worked with Samsung, EE and Microsoft.
